MeTalkPretty’s story thus far has been a remarkable one for independent artists. Formed in 2006, in New York, NY, the Rock-Pop Noir band released 1 EP and embarked on a journey of relentless touring and self-promotion. They built up a loyal fan-base, amassing over 400 shows in The US and Canada, including two national tours with The Warped Tour, and appearances at SXSW and CMJ. 2009 saw the band win an MTV VMA for Best Breakout artist in NY and placement of their song “Wake Up”, in EA Sports NHL 2010 and The Sims 3: World Adventures. 

MeTalkPretty’s debut record, entitled “We Are Strangers”, is scheduled for release on Eight O Five / Fontana / Universal Music this summer. The band is currently repped by The Agency Group and just completed their music video for their debut single “Wake up!” ,which will be available for purchase at iTunes on June 8th.
